FFAM360 Provides Corporate Sponsorship to Promise686
FFAM360 is proud to be participating in the Promise686 program. Promise686 is a ministry that assists families and churches who care for vulnerable children by providing financial assistance, community support, and adoption and foster care related education.
FFAM360 is a corporate sponsor for the “Bring Them Home” Annual Benefit taking place on October 21st, 2017 at SunTrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves. This event brings together families from around our local Atlanta area to raise funds for direct support to the mission of Promise686.
“We are grateful to be participating in an event for such a worthy cause, ” said President and Chief Investment Officer Matthew Maloney. “This is an opportunity to support an organization that works so hard to assist families in need with adoption grants, foster care, mentoring and much more. These types of organizations add a compassionate approach to these types of sensitive family situations.” Maloney added, “It has become a personal focus of mine to lead our Company by allocating a portion of our time and resources aimed at faith-based missional activities, serving the least-and-lost. Through our partnership with Promise686, we are able to achieve this endeavor.
“This is an issue and missional effort that is important to us”, explained Mary Maloney. “We see the direct impact this program has on families, and supporting this program is an opportunity to change the lives of the children involved, and have a positive impact on the communities in which we live, work, and play.
About Promise686
Specifically, Promise686 is a ministry that assists families and churches who care for vulnerable children by providing financial assistance, community support, and adoption and foster care related education. Believing that Psalm 68:6 is for every child – we strive to fulfill the promise that “God sets the lonely in families.”
Promise686 aids in international and domestic adoption though the provision of matching grants to qualifying families. We live out our mission in the foster care realm through our strategy, Live the Promise.
For many churches, the start of “orphan-care” ministry is addressing local needs in foster care. Live the Promise is a ministry model established in churches to grow the base of foster families and to support these foster families through a local volunteer Care Community. This Care Community provides meals, childcare, transportation and respite care.
