As Director of Portfolio Strategy at National Credit Adjusters, Rick Winters is responsible for all aspects of portfolio performance and overseeing internal call-center strategies, third-party agency and law firm networks, and the internal teams responsible for managing those relationships.

The people. Everyone at each level understands the objective and we support each other every step of the way.

Digital strategies. The ability to be able to communicate with consumers via SMS, email or chatbot is exciting. I started in this industry when it was manually dialing from postcards. 

I believe more and more companies will adopt some level of an AI solution to supplement their overall strategies.   

It is the accomplishment of meeting an objective that you have been trying to achieve. Success requires discipline, commitment, and a clear vision.

Whether it is a personal or company goal you must set clear expectations. If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. 

Be curious. Ask questions. Understand, understand, understand. Knowledge is what drives change in performance.    

Being a father. Every day I have so much pride in seeing my children grow and develop into remarkable adults. 

I honestly can’t say I have a favorite book or podcast. I really enjoy documentaries and one of my favorites is The Last Dance.

I would love to coach an NFL football game. The challenge of preparing and executing the game plan to lead the team to victory would be extremely rewarding. 

I competed in a hotdog eating contest and won! No, I am no Joey Chestnut.
