Receivables Info Executive Spotlight with Sarah Grincewicz

Sarah Grincewicz has been with Markoff Law for 13 years playing various roles and wearing a number of different hats. From collection attorney to compliance attorney and attorney manager, Sarah has done it all. In her current role as  Director of Process Development, she focuses where the Operations and IT Departments intersect, working on the firm’s case management system and building efficiencies through Markoff’s processes and procedures.

The people. I love the people I work with, and truly believe we have a great team that has been critical to the growth and success of the firm. 

The continued development and use of technology such as AI / large language models and Robotic Process Automation.      

I think there will be a bigger reliance on alternative methods of communication such as email and texting as we move away from the traditional method of speaking to parties over the telephone.

To me, success is not only accomplishing a task, but learning something new from doing that task and enjoying yourself along the way.

Work smarter, not harder. I use this advice every day as I try to ensure our office is run as efficiently as possible. If we can remove inefficiencies, we can be more successful and enjoy a better quality of life.

You need to understand the overall industry, not just the specific job you are doing. This will lead to greater job satisfaction and a more rewarding career.

My biggest accomplishment is probably balancing all that life throws at me. I have two very active young boys who keep me on my toes. Between work, coaching their sports teams, and otherwise being involved in their school and my community, I’m often surprised I am able to juggle it all.

I love reading. It’s hard to pick just one. Most recently I’ve really enjoyed the series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. The books are so much better than the Game of Thrones series on HBO, although I’m starting to give up hope that The Winds of Winter will ever be completed and published.

Something in the sports industry, particularly college athletics.

I’m a twin; I have a twin brother.
