Lloyd & McDaniel, PLC acquires Cooling & Winter
January 8, 2024 – Lloyd & McDaniel, PLC, a leading creditors’ rights law firm serving financial institutions for more than 70 years, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cooling & Winter, LLC. As part of this acquisition, we are also excited to welcome Joseph Cooling and Robert Winter as Managing Attorneys to the Lloyd & McDaniel team. This acquisition will strengthen our presence in Georgia and Florida, and add South Carolina to our state footprint map, with brick-and-mortar offices in each of those states.
Joe brings over 20 years of experience to the collection industry, managing large-scale law firm operations. He is a member of the Georgia Bar and the National Creditors Bar Association, has his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, and graduated from Loyola University Law School.
Robert Winter co-founded and managed the firm with Mr. Cooling, having practiced in this field for over 30 years. He is licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Missouri, and is a regular at industry conferences including the National Creditors Bar Association. Robert is a graduate of Florida International University and received his law degree from Emory University.
