Ronni Majewski with Administrative Services featured on Executive Spotlight
What are your primary duties in your current role?
My primary responsibility is managing all things related to Administrative Services, which includes managing the day-to-day operations of the Operations Support department as well as all things related to Payment Processing. The department’s responsibilities include media, correspondence, communication with issuers/clients/agencies, mail handling, dispute/fraud handling, etc. and supporting the organization as a whole.
Industry Q&A:
How did you join the receivables industry?
I started in medical billing at the collection agency for the University of Chicago Hospital. During that time, they also needed a manager for the early-out medical collection department. So I moved into the collection side of the company, and have been here ever since.
In the receivables industry, what emerging trend has your attention?
Omnichannel Communication. It seems that more and more consumers are opting out of phone communication for text and email communication.
What are your hopes for the receivables industry?
I hope that the CFPB keeps identifying the bad actors that do not benefit the consumers and are posing as credit repair companies. We are finding more and more consumers falling victim to these types of companies.
What is your favorite part of working at your company?
I am continuously learning and also love being part of a team that values both work and family life.
Professional Motivation & Inspiration:
Share a quote that motivates or inspires you:
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received in life?
To pick my battles wisely and not to sweat the small stuff. This piece of advice was given to me by one of my managers early on in my career but, it took me many years to apply that advice.
What are you most proud of, or what is your biggest accomplishment?
My family is what I am most proud of. I have three children that are growing into amazing young adults.
Personal Q&A:
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher, and in many ways my role still gives me that ability. I enjoy teaching others what I have learned over the course of my career, and watching their growth.
If you work from home, what is the best thing about your home office setup/working from home? And if you work in an office, what is your favorite part of working in the office?
I work both in the office and at home, which I think is ideal. It gives me the ability to interact in person with my co-workers a few times a week. The upside of working from home is cutting out the travel time back and forth to the office.
What is your favorite book, movie, TV show, podcast, or music genre?
I lean towards crime dramas.
People would be surprised if they knew…
How much of my free time is spent watching sports. My daughter plays high school soccer and my son plays travel basketball.
Do you have a pet? If so, what kind and what’s their name?
I have two dogs, a black lab named Freddie and a yellow lab named Sammie. I also have two cats, Goofy and Minnie.
