CACi Continues Growing, Acquires Two More Agencies
St. Ann, Mo — April 22 — Consumer Adjustment Company, Inc. (CACi) is excited to announce the acquisitions of Creditors’ Discount & Audit Co. (CDA) and The Credit Bureau of Columbia/Account Management Services (AMS).
The two companies are the latest to join the CACi family and further demonstrate the company’s stability and rapid growth. That CDA and AMS had corporate philosophies that aligned with CACi made the decision to acquire the companies an easy one, said Roger Weiss, CACi’s President.
“Both AMS and CDA are well-respected in their markets and in the industry, and their philosophy toward consumer-centric collection practices fits hand-in-glove with CACi’s culture and philosophy,” Weiss said. “We look forward to continuing to drive superlative results for all our clients.”
CDA’s management team of Ken Armstrong, Tony Muscato, and Ryan Schmitz and their staff will be instrumental in shaping the operational strategy at CACi and helping maintain the company’s already high level of client satisfaction. Becoming part of the CACi family will allow CDA to improve efficiencies and create opportunities to be more productive.
“The opportunity to create economies of scale by joining forces with CACi was too good of an opportunity to pass up.” Armstrong said. “By combining resources, everyone — including our clients and their consumers — wins.”
Trent Kelley of AMS will lead CACi’s charge into mid- and western Missouri, delivering exemplary service and results, at a time when many companies are struggling because of rising costs and shrinking margins. Industry participants should expect to see similar partnerships, Kelley said.
“The industry is going to continue to see acquisitions like this one,” Kelley said. “The efficiencies are to great to ignore, as are the costs and risks of not making the deal. Regulatory demands and oversight alone are going to continue to drive further industry contraction.”
