ACA International Acquires Women in Consumer Finance Conference

ACA International has acquired the Women in Consumer Finance conference and plans to relaunch the event in fall 2027, bringing the professional development and networking program under the association’s stewardship.

Founded in 2018, Women in Consumer Finance has served professionals across the consumer finance ecosystem, including creditors, law firms, asset buyers, debt collection agencies and technology providers.

ACA Plans 2027 Relaunch

ACA said a newly established WCF Governance Committee and Advisory Council are developing plans for the conference’s return. Programming will continue to center on peer networking, leadership and professional development, mentorship and industry-focused discussions.

“WCF fills a role that no other event does,” ACA Immediate Past President Jennifer Whipple, president of Collection Bureau Services, said in the announcement. Whipple said the acquisition is intended to preserve the event and support professionals throughout the credit industry.

The acquisition expands ACA’s event portfolio beyond programming focused specifically on accounts receivable management companies and provides another professional development forum for organizations and individuals throughout consumer finance.

Women working at banks, credit unions, fintech companies, creditors, law firms, asset buyers, collection agencies, and technology providers are among the professionals ACA expects the relaunched conference to serve.
