I’ve been so wrong so many times I’m hesitant to make any predictions but the one thing we can all count on is change.

Having a work/life balance and maintaining all of my relationships. In the end, all we have is the love of our family and friends.

There are a lot of opportunities across the spectrum of our businesses so regardless if you’re a collector working a desk, in the IT department, a new attorney, or in HR or Accounting—find a mentor. They can have a major impact on the trajectory of your career and are an invaluable resource. Keep in mind this is still an industry that you can start as a collector and end up as the President/CEO which many have done!

The personal and professional relationships I’ve built over the course of my life and 30-year career.

Of course I watch Adam’s podcasts regularly and I’ve always enjoyed Malcolm Gladwell’s books. I’m looking forward to reading Tom Modly’s recent book, Vectors: Heroes, Villains, and Heartbreak on the Bridge of the U.S. Navy.

Not sure, that is a tough one.

I have an older half-brother that my mom gave up for adoption that no one knew about except for her until he found us 5 years ago through Ancestry.com DNA testing. He searched for over 30 years to find his biological parents and it has been wonderful to welcome him and his family into ours. He is a good guy, he calls my mom every Sunday!
