Industry Q&A:
How did you join the receivables industry?
I was looking to transition from property management back into the financial services industry when my best friend introduced me to an opportunity in collections and recovery. That introduction set me on a path I’ve truly enjoyed, and from that moment on, I never looked back.
What is the most exciting emerging trend or technology in the receivables industry today, and how do you see it shaping the future?
While I am interested to see what stance regulators take on the various additions being introduced in the market for payment solutions, the advancement of payment solutions excites me. These technologies enhance consumer convenience, reduce friction in the payment process, and offer more flexible and automated options. As these solutions continue to evolve, I see them driving higher engagement, reducing delinquencies, and ultimately reshaping the industry by making payments more seamless, efficient, and consumer-friendly.
What are your hopes for the receivables industry?
My hope is that we continue to see a focus on consumer-friendly approaches, leveraging digital tools and data-driven strategies to improve engagement and recovery rates. Additionally, I hope for a regulatory environment that supports innovation while maintaining fair and ethical practices, ensuring a balanced and sustainable future for all stakeholders.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing the industry right now, and how might it be addressed?
With regulatory uncertainty, states may continue to introduce their own policies, creating a complex and fragmented compliance landscape. Industry collaboration, proactive engagement with policymakers, and adaptable compliance strategies will be essential in navigating these challenges effectively.
What is your favorite part of working at your current company, and what makes it unique?
My favorite part of working at CAM is the people. What makes them truly unique is their constant encouragement of personal and professional growth in every interaction. Whether through collaboration, mentorship, or simply sharing knowledge, there is a genuine culture of support that pushes everyone to improve and succeed. Being surrounded by such a driven and uplifting team makes every day both rewarding and inspiring.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the receivables management industry?
Stay curious, be proactive, and remain committed to continuous learning. This industry is constantly evolving with new regulations, technologies, and best practices, so adaptability and a willingness to learn will set you up for success. Building strong relationships and staying informed will help you navigate challenges and grow in your career.

My children, as young adults, have grown into kind, compassionate, and hardworking individuals. They exhibit respect, empathy and resilience in everything they do.
How do you stay informed and continue to grow professionally in an ever-evolving industry?
By seeking out continuous learning opportunities. I regularly read industry publications, attend webinars and conferences as well as connecting with peers to stay ahead of emerging trends in the industry.
Personal Q&A:
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a physical therapist when I grew up because I was drawn to the idea of helping people recover and regain their strength. While my career path ultimately led me in a different direction, that same desire to support and make a positive impact on others has remained a core part of who I am.
If you work from home, what is the best thing about your home office setup/working from home? If you work in an office, what is your favorite part of working in the office?
My office is my quiet space where I can focus and be productive. I’m currently in the process of revamping it to enhance its aesthetic appeal and create a better view, making it an even more enjoyable and inspiring place to work.
What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities outside of work?
Outside of work, I love traveling to new places and sharing those experiences with my family—it’s a great way to create lasting memories together. I also enjoy giving back to the community through volunteering, as it’s important to me to make a positive impact wherever I can.
Do you have a pet? If so, tell us about them!
Sixteen years ago, I rescued a wonderful puppy who became a cherished part of my life. He passed away two years ago, and his presence left a lasting impact. While I deeply appreciate the joy and companionship he brought, I have chosen not to have another pet at this time.
Fun Fact About You: People would be surprised if they knew…
As a child, I was the only girl who played Little League baseball in my community. The boys didn’t always appreciate it, especially since I often won the fundraising contests—being the only girl in my baseball uniform definitely gave me an edge.
What’s one thing on your bucket list that you hope to accomplish someday?
Although it might seem a bit random, ice fishing is something I’ve always wanted to try. The idea of experiencing the outdoors in such a unique way really excites me. Given my strong dislike for the cold, though, I’d definitely need to do it from the comfort of an ice hut— preferably with a little warmth, LOL
