Larry Costa is the President of Capital Management Services, LP – a nationally licensed professional collection agency providing top-tier recovery and project solutions for their clients across the financial industry. Leading the team out of their upstate NY headquarters, Larry steers CMS as an established proven leader and performer across the industry due to CMS’ attention to detail and customized strategies designed to meet the unique needs of each portfolio or project.

For over 20 years, Larry and CMS have worked to adhere and uphold the CMS mission statement of maintaining a consumer centric focus, exceeding industry standards for quality and compliance by delivering forward-thinking, innovation-driven recovery and special project solutions that generate revenue and build capacity for our clients while never wavering from our commitment to delivering the best possible experience for consumers. As a testament to their mission, CMS maintains an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and holds a Soc 2 Type 2 security audit accreditation. 

After the rapid changes in the financial industry post-2008, Larry and his team worked to transition CMS into a more consumer-friendly business model that could adapt to changing regulations and compliance standards. CMS now provides financial literacy services and opportunities on their website to better help their consumers. In mid-2021, CMS began a YouTube channel to further help educate consumers and clients. 

Larry attended Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and has spent over 20 years coaching youth baseball all over Western New York. Larry has personally donated money to Feed My Starving Children and he and his friends work closely with the organization to create over 10,000 meals in a single day each year. Larry also donates and sponsors a table for the Bison Children’s Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for underprivileged students for K-12 education.
