ACA International has acquired the Women in Consumer Finance conference and plans to relaunch the event in fall 2027, bringing the professional development and networking program under the association’s stewardship. Founded in 2018, Women in Consumer Finance has served professionals across the consumer finance ecosystem, including creditors, law firms, asset buyers, debt collection agencies and technology providers.

FCC Considers Further TCPA Opt-Out and Texting Rule Changes The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering additional changes to its Telephone Consumer Protection Act rules that could affect how businesses manage text messaging, consent revocation, and communications across affiliated entities. House Panel Advances Bipartisan Scam Prevention Bill The Strategic Task Force on Scam Prevention Act, H.R. 5967, recently advanced out of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade. The bill, introduced by Reps.
