Welcome to Receivables Readers

Welcome to Receivables Readers, a book club that was created as a fun way to engage ARM industry colleagues and stay connected through a shared love for reading (or listening). Our goal is to bring our industry community together to learn, listen, discuss, and share, in a friendly environment. We will choose a book every other month, read and discuss, and even have live meet ups at industry events!

Our rules are simple:

  • Be respectful.
  • Be kind.
  • Read or listen at your own pace.
  • Bring your questions.
  • Don’t feel like you have to contribute every time.
  • Join us for one book, a few books, or all of them.
  • Create a micro-community of Receivables Readers in your organization and grow the conversation!

Join The Receivables Readers Book Club!

Receivables Readers is open to every person who works in the ARM industry. Our LinkedIn group will be our primary source of communication. To receive an invitation, please fill out the form and join us on a literary adventure!

What Types of Books Do We Read?

We will be choosing books that are available on audio (in case anyone prefers to listen to a good book) and hope to cover a variety of topics–from books that are inspirational to others which talk about leadership, and everything in between! We welcome your suggestions and recommendations.

What Are We Reading This Time?

    Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey

Eryn & Lauren are kicking off Receivables Readers with a book that reached the New York Times Best Seller List by inspiring countless readers (and listeners) with his honesty, unconventional wisdom, and stories about learning life the hard way.

An excerpt: “Greenlights mean go–advance, carry on, continue… In our lives, they are an affirmation of our way….Catching greenlights is about skill: intent, context, consideration, endurance, anticipation, resilience, speed, and discipline. We can catch more greenlights by simply identifying where the red lights are in our life, and then change course to hit fewer of them…It’s a matter of how we see the challenge in front of us and how we engage with it. Persist, pivot, or concede. It’s up to us, our choice every time… This is a book about catching greenlights and realizing that the yellow and reds eventually turn green.”
