What is your favorite part of working at Latitude by Genesys?

The team that I work with. Across all disciplines, they are truly a dedicated, motivated, and professional group.

In the receivables industry, what emerging trend has your attention?

The adoption of digital channels and self-service in the ARM space, and the shift in preference by the consumer to digital over human contact. Not long ago the truism was: “I don’t want to talk to a machine, I want to talk to a person.”

What industry change do you predict over the next 5 years?

Not sure if it’s truly a change, but the continuously changing regulatory landscape is going to continue to impact the industry as a whole. Combine that with the adoption of self-service and digital channels, the dynamic of the industry will change.

How do you define success?

To me there is no one clear definition of success. The traditional answer of success can be achieved by meeting a defined goal or objective doesn’t cover all situations. Success can also be achieved in a passive manner based upon life experiences and interactions.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received in life?

The best advice is very hard to pin down, but never burn bridges, particularly in this industry as you are going to meet up with the same people over and over.

What are you most proud of, or what is your biggest accomplishment?

Outside of work, it’s my four amazing children and six grandchildren.

What is your favorite book or podcast?

Animal Farm by George Orwell.

If you could do any other non-industry job for just one day, what would it be?

Social Worker.

People would be surprised if they knew…
